We, at Cricket Betting Tips India, bring to you all updates about popular Indian cricketers who have been interacting with their fans virtually. Take a look as to how Mohammed Shami is interacting with his fans during the lockdown.

What’s Mohammed Shami up to?

Recently, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal had an Instagram live session together where they interacted and entertained their fans through some candid chit-chat. During the session, Shami willfully revealed that his pick would be between Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, the players whom he thought were very close to him.

Shami has been having a lot many live sessions dedicated to his fans to entertain them during the lockdown. It was during one of these sessions that he revealed his pick. He chose Kohli instantly and validated his choice. He stated he had not picked Kohli because he was the captain of the team but because of the rapport, they shared with each other.

He further added as to how he and Kohli spoke a lot over the phone and discussed their views on a variety of subjects including their musical preferences and also shared cool jokes. Hence, he affirmed openly that his bonding was better with Kohli than Sharma, with whom he chatted on calls.

Shami asserted, “I don’t interact much with Rohit on calls. Don’t know, but Rohit and I hardly even bond on jokes, etc. Though we have debuted in Test together…With Virat, we both talk on all sorts of things (music taste or regarding any joke). We even interact quite often over the phone. Hence, I will go towards Virat in this case. It is not because he is the captain, but we bond in a much better way.”

Yuzvendra Chahal approves Shami’s choice

Chahal, a well-grounded Indian cricketer, and former chess player completely agreed with the fact that different people bond and seem attracted over different things and the relationship between individuals develops naturally. He added that Rohit Sharma’s case was different because it was really difficult for him to get hold of his family.

The interaction between these two players came at the forefront as a result of the alarming Coronavirus crisis that has completely halted sporting events throughout the world. Cricket tournaments that had been scheduled are either postponed or canceled. IPL 2020, which was rescheduled for 15th April, was postponed indefinitely after the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended the lockdown till May 3rd.

Closing thoughts

If the COVID-19 pandemic would not have affected the entire world so intensely, the probability of Kohli, Rohit, Chahal, and Shami would have been representing their respective IPL franchises in this year’s edition. In addition to this, the IPL 2020 edition has been put on halt due to the pandemic and a final decision regarding its future will soon be taken by the BCCI. Stay tuned!
